Morven Programs has a new mission to activate the property as UVA’s Sustainability Lab. Existing programs are highlighted below, but stay tuned as we develop the new mission and strategic vision for the lab. Today, Morven facilitates teaching, research, outreach, and collaboration between local and global leaders and the academic community. The Morven Kitchen Garden (MKG) provides a place and opportunity for UVA students to directly participate in sustainable agriculture from seed, to market, to plate. At MKG’s one-acre garden, UVA students sustainably grow and sell vegetables, herbs, and flowers.
